The department aims to provide the students strong foundation in various areas of psychology. The focus on facilitating acquisition of basic skills in major areas of application (e.g. psychological testing, experimentation, counselling, interviewing, developing psychological tools, behaviour modification, data analysis, report writing) enabling students to excel at professional and personal levels.
B.A. (Hons) Psychology and Ph.D. program were introduced in DHSS in Tadong campus in the year 2022. The department is established with B.sc applied Psychology from academic session 2023-24. The postgraduate programs will be introduced in near future.
